📌Nature of the protagonist

Introducing our proud collection named “ Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress ” you should not miss.

Designed by Boeing in the 1930s, the B-17 was one of the earliest four-engine heavy bombers. Although initial production was slow, the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 accelerated demand, leading to the production of over 12,700 units by Boeing, Lockheed Vega, and Douglas.  The B-17 was heavily armed, with up to 13 .50 caliber machine guns strategically placed in multiple turrets and gun stations around the aircraft. This defensive firepower gave it a formidable defense against enemy fighters, particularly in formations, where overlapping fields of fire created a “fortress in the sky.”
