📌Nature of the protagonist

Introducing our proud collection named “The USS Enterprise CV-6” you should not miss.

The USS Enterprise CV-6 was laid down on July 16, 1934, at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company in Virginia. It was launched on October 3, 1936, and commissioned on May 12, 1938. The CV-6 Enterprise had a length of 827 feet (252 meters) and a displacement of about 20,000 tons. It was powered by steam turbines, which allowed it to achieve a top speed of 32.5 knots (37.4 mph or 60.2 km/h). The carrier had a capacity to carry approximately 90 aircraft, including fighters, bombers, torpedo planes, and reconnaissance aircraft. During the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the USS Enterprise was at sea, returning to Pearl Harbor from Wake Island. It played a critical role in the subsequent Pacific War. The USS Enterprise CV-6 played a pivotal role in the Battle of Midway, which took place from June 4 to 7, 1942. The carrier’s aircraft, along with those from the USS Yorktown and USS Hornet, successfully attacked and sank four Japanese aircraft carriers, effectively turning the tide of the war in the Pacific.
